Encouraging EDI at MRA Search
MRA Search is made up of a diverse community and has been since its early days. We believe that this very diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Equality of opportunity and the absence of unfair discrimination are at the heart of all that MRA Search does.
MRA Search is committed to encouraging equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) among our workforce and in providing services to clients and eliminating unlawful discrimination. We strive to create a working environment free of bullying, harassment, victimisation, and unlawful discrimination, promoting dignity and respect for all, and where individual differences and the contributions of all staff are recognised and valued.
MRA Search has always sought to provide the best-qualified candidates to its clients, and we aim to source candidates from all backgrounds. We do not unfairly discriminate in the headhunting of candidates. We engage with our clients to challenge unconscious biases and to encourage them to consider candidates who might not fit their traditional requirements, thereby helping diverse talent access roles.
Our consultants seek to take an involved, tailored approach with our clients, helping them to create an enriching environment in which to work, which, by definition, must be one that is diverse and inclusive.
In addition, we have a dedicated Diversity and Inclusion Officer, Samirah Roxburgh, to:

liaise with clients to discuss how MRA Search can further help them with their EDI aims, including providing feedback specific to the client or about the market in general;

monitor the diversity of candidates we put forward and place to ensure that we fulfil our aims on a day-to-day basis;

arrange internal training and events for our consultants on diversity related matters;

work with organisations on EDI related matters; and
-
continually review our practices and procedures with respect to EDI issues.
